IMO definitely worth the effort, complications, confusion. Offer me Cocoa Pebbles every morning for breakfast, throw in some waffles and bacon, and I'd be at my most flexible best.

Interesting piece. I think getting used to this stuff when dating is not so unique - it's what you have to do in any relationship/marriage. Even long -married folk are going to have differences about food, about discipline etc. I think it's just getting into abruptly that's hard, without years of moving into it.
