I have found that the best way to ensure a wonderful and loving relationship is to love one's partner more than oneself. And if your partner does the same thing it is bliss.

  I've found that it is most important to love yourself, only then you are able to truly love someone else.
  Without self love, your love towards others is only a compensation.
