Sinners in the Bible Belt? Sex, Swingers, and Religion... »

Who would have thought that Texas, the conservative Republican state, is 2nd In the Nation on Sex Seeking Enthusiasts? While Texas may be perceived as a highly religious and conservative stronghold, deep in the heart of the Bible Belt, it's beat out only by California in the number of adults actively looking for sex on the internet.

Good People...Hmm
Let us see..
Like that Evangelical Minister who constantly called homosexuality a sin and the went on to have a male prostitute service his needs..
That's right-Ted Haggart of Colorado Springs from Bible Belt.
How about the Congressman from Florida who engaged in sexual contacts with underage Congressional Pages - actually a pedophile..
Did you say Mark Foley? You are right. From Bible Belt!
Good people from Bible Belt, indeed!
There may be quite a few more!

Are you saying based on the two people you could name that the hundred million or so people living in the bible belt are bad people? Sure looks that way.
The article said 3.4% of Texans, which is hardly an epidemic, yet you discount the nothion that there could be good people in the bible belt.
Do you think you might be a little bigoted?

Are you suggesting that the two people you mentioned are representative of all people who live in Bible Belt states? This is an Amazing example of the stereotyping that many here on netscape engage in. I welcome your insight and for presenting us all with an example of the small mindedness that prevails in many posts. Thank you

I don't live in it. But the Bible belt does have better people overall. This article has nothing to do with whether a state is Bible belt. It has the second largest population and land area. Statistically, why WOUDLN'T it be second in number of adults looking for that on the internet.
YOU PEOPLE ARE SO BLIND AND PARTISAN IT IS PATHETIC.

Maybe some do. They're not the ones claiming family values while paying a hooker to do what they won't do with their wives. BTW last time I checked that's not honoring thy marriage commitment.
They're preaching one thing and doing another.

I ask everyone who participated in this post, did you actually look at "askdanandjennifer.com"?
It's a borderline pornographic site loaded with "Hot Girls and Their Webcams, Free dating: single personal ads, Hot Pics & Profiles" links.
Did you notice they didn't even make a comment on their own submission?
Hmmm...could satan have maybe dropped a seed, then checked out? LOL!
I see so many of you wallowing in the puddle of diarrhea he left, namecalling and fingerpointing each other.

I somewhat regret wasting my time here, but I couldn't help but pose the question: "did any of you actually look at "askdanandjennifer.com"?
Some of my "intentions" here on this forum are to ask people to contemplate their beliefs instead of: (a) just "going along with" WHAT SOUNDS GOOD, or (b) "going along with" some other belief as an ACT OF REBELLION to "a belief" that was forced upon them at one time or that they had an undesirable experience through.
Another "intention" is to re-claim territory (on the internet) for the Kingdom of God that has been temporarily lost to satan and his followers. I have heard that 65-70% of all revenue on the i-net is through illicit business (pornography and black-market drugs and potions). That's intolerable (I would think, even for the heathen).

Theo,
Texans are in the same percentage as the rest of the country, when it comes to lust and sin!
They only try to say they are more religious.
We have a few Texans currently living in Washington, DC, that we wish had stayed in Texas and made that state more religious! That may have changed the percentage, too, who knows!
lol!

Thank you for this comment.
Repression and denial of our natural sexual desires is the root cause of many of the societal issues that we see today. Child molestation, rape, incest, addiction to porn, all of the ills that people quote when they talk about prostitution.
If we as a society can become more comfortable expressing our sexuality in a more healthy and natural manner, we'll all be much happier and at peace with who who we truly are - sexual beings.

Yeah, Dan and Jennifer.... And if we accept homoexuality on an equal footing with heterosexuality, there will be much more BALANCE and peacefulness on this earth - probably LESS Global Warming! Not everyone of God's creations needs to procreate, inspite of the Bible (which I consider nothing more than a travelogue-cum-handbook for the jewish tribes in their meanderings across the Middle East).
Nature, as created by God, shows plenty of examples of growth and blossoming WITHOUT producing fruit, and this world is none the uglier for it!
But, aha, the ugly human urge for CONTROL and DOMINATION cannot stand such a balance in nature...

Ho Ho HE HE Ha one of the greatest comedies ever to grace the small screen. I'm still laughing at all those idiots that worshiped that flim flam man. Ha Ha...
But that's the real problem. Why do a certain segment of the public thrive on blind stupidity? There will always be con artists but there are so many easy marks for them in a certain region. Praise the Lard.

Looks outside,,,, let's see beamers,,,, lXs,,, hey a Hummer,,,,,, dang where are all the horses?
I bet there are horses in every state. A little over a years ago a Seattle man was found dead after attempting to have sex with a horse. You think thats strange? Well yeah it is. But the even stranger thing is that in the state of Washington having sex with animals is completely legal.
At least when we ride horses in the south we do it sitting on their backs not from behind standing on a stool.
